I'm nostalgic for days gone past; days which I never got to experience myself, and as such, search high and low for anything from the 60's and earlier. I love everything vintage- housewares, music, cars, fashion. On a typical weekend you can find me scouring local thrift shops, and in the summer, searching for garage sales, rummage sales, and the like. But, I am also a modern gal, with an eclectic taste and style- I like loud music, tight clothes, and cocktails; I also like yoga, reading, and being crafty. In fact, I have been lucky enough to get some of the items I make in local stores and on Etsy; I make rockabilly style hair fasinators, jewelry, and re-cyled clutches. In my younger days, I dreamed of being a writer and loved fashion- I was always the odd one out; I liked to dress strange and be silly. These days, I've honed in my fashion sense- a little bit rockabilly, a little bit retro. This blog is a way to not only share local events, reviews, my thoughts on fashion, and vintage/rockabilly lifestyle, but also to keep up with my writing. I hope you enjoy!
